The adventures begin

There are over 120 cemeteries in metropolitan Sydney. Yet no one has written a history about them or a field guide.

Well, I’m about to change all that. Thanks to NewSouth Publishing I’ll be writing a book about Sydney’s Cemeteries. This will draw upon my crazy obsession which started over 20 years ago.

Over the next 10 months I’ll be visiting each and every cemetery in Sydney. I’ll be reviewing them, finding out what’s unique about each one, and discovering some amazing stories along the way. This blog will share some of the images and stories that lie beneath.
